What GGSites keeps in your browser, and how to change your answer.
Updated 12 October 2026
In short
GGSites sets no cookies for visitors. Visits are counted without cookies, as the privacy notice explains.
A few small values are kept in your browser so the site works the way you left it. None of them is used for advertising or sent to anyone else.
What is kept in your browser
- gg-assistant (session storage): your conversation with the assistant, so it stays open across pages. Removed when you close the tab.
- gg-assistant-nudged (session storage): remembers that the small assistant hint was shown, so it appears once per visit.
- ggsites-reduce-motion (session storage): your choice to reduce motion on the site.
- gg-consent (local storage): your answer to the cookie question, only if that question is ever shown.
These are strictly necessary for features you use, so they do not need consent.
The owner's sign-in
The site owner's admin area uses one cookie, gg_admin, to keep the owner signed in for up to seven days. It is only set for the person who signs in to the admin area.
Marketing cookies
None are in use today.
If GGSites starts measuring Meta ads, the site will ask you first, with Accept and Decline given equal weight. Only if you accept does Meta's pixel load. It sets cookies such as _fbp and tells Meta which pages you viewed and whether you sent an enquiry, so that ads can be measured.
You can change your answer at any time with the button below, or by clearing this site's data in your browser.
Your control
Browsers let you block or delete cookies and site data. Blocking the values above means the assistant forgets the conversation when you change page.
