An AI assistant for your documents that shows its sources.

Your team asks the AI assistant a question in plain words and gets an answer from the documents you choose, with a link to where it came from. If the answer is not there, it says so.

A printed project enquiry with two phrases highlighted, next to a structured draft that marks the deadline as missing.
Details pulled from an email, with the missing deadline marked.

The answer exists, but nobody can find it.

Procedures, price lists, contracts and old emails sit in shared folders with names like "final v3". New staff ask whoever has been there longest. Two people give two different answers, because one of them read the version from last year.

What it does.

Your team asks, and each answer shows the document it came from.

Answers in plain words

Ask "what is our refund policy for custom orders?" or "which clause in the Mill Street lease covers early termination?" and get a short answer from your own documents.

The source with every answer

Each answer links to the document and the section it used, with the date of that version, so anyone can open it and check.

Says when it does not know

If the documents do not cover a question, it says so. Those gaps show you which documents need writing or updating.

Drafts for a person to check

It can prepare a reply or a summary from the documents and show what it used. A person checks the draft before anything is saved or sent.

Ten questions are enough to start.

Bring ten questions your team asks each other and tell us where the answers live today. That is enough to judge whether an assistant suits the job, or whether tidier folders would do.

How we build it.

In this order, and nothing goes live before you have tried it.

Collect real questions

We gather the questions your team asks each other, in their own words, and note where each answer lives today.

Choose the documents

We agree which folders it reads and set aside old versions and drafts, so it answers from the current document.

Set who can ask about what

We agree access before the build and check what your document storage allows. HR records and client documents stay with the people allowed to see them.

Test before anyone relies on it

We run the collected questions through it and check each answer against its source with someone who knows the material. At handover you get a plain description of what it uses and how to change it.

Where it fits.

What it looks like in a few kinds of business.

Law firms

First enquiries and conflict check details, without legal advice.

Questions we hear.

Who can see our documents?

Only the people you choose. We agree access before the build, so documents such as HR records stay out of everyone else's answers.

How do we know an answer is right?

Every answer shows its source, so anyone can check it. For anything that matters, a person reads the source before acting on it.

What happens when a document changes?

It answers from the current version in the folders it reads. When you replace a document, its answers change with it.

Can it read scanned PDFs and spreadsheets?

Usually, yes. Scans are turned into readable text first. We check a sample of your documents before we promise anything.

Is this the same as a chatbot on our website?

No. A website chatbot talks to your customers. This assistant is for your own team and can read internal documents customers never see.

Show us where your documents live.

Tell us which folders your team searches most and what they look for. The consultation is free, over Google Meet, a voice call or text.
